A Gunroom Share is a curated, shareable view of some or all of your firearm collection.

Key points:

• You control what appears in a share — you don't have to include your full collection
• Shares can be sent as a private link to anyone (they do not need a MyGunRoom account to view)
• The recipient sees a read-only snapshot; they cannot edit or copy your data

What share recipients can see:

• Firearm photos, make, model, caliber, category, and condition
• Your public notes and story for each item
• Star count (community engagement)

What is always hidden on shares:

• Serial numbers (never visible)
• Price paid and acquisition details
• Documents you've uploaded

Common uses:

• Showing a friend or family member your collection
• Providing documentation for insurance or estate planning
• Listing firearms you're interested in selling (check local laws)
